Team Trillion participated in our first annual day of service, where our team volunteers our time for a good cause. This year, we volunteered our time with Feed the Need, an statewide effort in NJ to mobilize 8,000 volunteers to pack 2 million meals for those suffering from food shortages in West Africa due to the Ebola outbreak.

Trillion donned hair nets for the afternoon, and along with 347 other volunteers in our shift, helped package an astounding 78,408 meals that will be shipped to West Africa.

The Feed the Need event supports the Feed My Starving Children non-profit organization committed to feeding starving children around the world. Feed My Starving Children organizes volunteer efforts around the US to hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and then ships them to 70 countries around the world.

It was a great afternoon for our team to give back and the start of what we all know will be an annual tradition.
