PROJECT OVERVIEW

After creating an award-winning capital campaign brochure for LREI, the independent school asked us to develop their year-long annual giving materials including an annual report “printer’s-proof” mailer to solicit last minute donations, the complete annual report, a companion guide on different ways to give to the school, and a short planned-giving trifold on how to leave a lasting legacy.

LREI’s thematic direction for the year was “Why Do I Love LREI?”. The development department created a bulletin board where students could write why they love the school so much and also asked alumni and parents to share their experiences. All of this community-generated content was then taken to create the annual report cover and additional content running across the header and footers of the interior pages. This approach allowed the entire LREI community to be involved and invested in the annual report project.

RESULTS

The mid-year printer’s proof mailing was so successful to solicit last-minute donations that it will be incorporated into LREI’s yearly fundraising calendar.
