For the fourth consecutive year, the Trillion team has participated in the Madison Area YMCA’s Annual Charity Bocce Invitational Tournament. The tournament helped raised much needed money for LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a no-cost health and wellness program for cancer survivors and their families.
Previous years have drawn large crowds who come to watch the many matches and offer support for their teams. A large contingent of the local Italian-American community is always on hand to offer pointers for the bocce newbies; as well as a bunch of jokesters for the veterans.

This year, the tournament raised over $30,000, a record since it was started thirteen years ago.

The tournament included 32 teams this year with only eight making it into the playoffs. The single-elimination rounds lead to the best out of three championship which was held on October 16. As always, our team was dressed in Trillion-designed t-shirts, a trend that a few other teams mimicked this year.
Trillion started the season off strong with a 3-0 record but lost two challenging games at the end of the season resulting in a 3-2 record. It is an improvement from last year but not enough to get into the playoffs.
