Each spring, Trillion participates in an annual day of service where our studio’s team volunteers our time to the community in and around NJ. This year, Trillion participated in the city of Summit’s Annual Earth Day Clean Up. As a local business in the city of Summit, we were really happy for the opportunity to clean up our little corner of earth.

The Trillion work “crew” was assigned a small triangle of Summit in the wooded area at the intersection of Glenside and Morris Avenues — just minutes from our design studio. Donning work gloves and our Trillion T-shirts, our crew spent the morning cleaning up the area. We picked up 10 large bags of recyclables and an astonishing 9 large bags worth of trash. We also collected a range of surprising finds that included hubcaps, road signs, a car tire, old gears and bolts, an ice tea cooler and Christmas decorations.

Trillion also designed and produced reusable “Earth Day Clean Up in Progress” signs that we donated to the town for future Summit Earth Day Clean Up events. We are proud to be a Summit Green Star company; a program that recognizes local businesses and community organizations for their sustainable practices.

As a creative agency that designs a lot of not-for-profit work, our studio’s goal is always to be good local and global citizens who care about our community and the environment. Our studio has developed a niche working with environmental conservation organizations whose mission is to protect and conserve the environment such as the NY-NJ Trail Conference, New York League of Conservation Voters and the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, and we love the fact that we were able to participate in a local environmental effort in the town we work in.

Our sincerest thank you goes out to our partners and friends at The Resourceful Business, another amazing Summit business, and Summit resident and fellow art director, Rich Montminy for donating their time and joining our crew. We also want to thank the city of Summit for allowing us to organize a Summit business Earth Day clean up day before the main event on Saturday.
