It all started when two young entrepreneurs began collaborating in a small Summit, NJ office. They quickly discovered they had something special to offer.

This year marks 10 years since Trillion first opened its doors. During that time, the creative agency built its excellent reputation by combining compelling visual identities with astute marketing strategies. Their mission was – and remains – to do work that they are proud of for clients they care about and to create an environment where talented, creative professionals want to work.

Creativity is the Catalyst

From the beginning, the agency attracted exceptional talent that built clients’ brand equity and increased their ROI. Trillion’s approach puts creativity at the core of any project, so their design is fresh and unique to each client, and the marketing is thoughtfully tailored to the client’s circumstances and goals. Their inventive team designs and launches websites, creates and runs marketing campaigns, writes compelling fundraising appeals, builds social media presence, boosts brand identity, and implements digital ad campaigns.

Clients See the Benefit

That vision has paid off: Trillion has grown to triple its original size with a talented staff of marketers, strategists, designers and developers. All are focused on achieving the best results for their clients, several of whom have been with Trillion since the very beginning. Trillion is proud to have received many awards recognizing their work, but even more importantly, that work has given clients increased sales and conversions, grown businesses by significant percentages, and helped raise many millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations.

More than half of Trillion’s clients are in the nonprofit sector. Trillion’s team relishes the opportunity to create work that is used to fundraise for humanitarian relief, health care outreach, performing arts organizations and private schools/universities. “Our nonprofit work contributes an overall sense of community at Trillion,” says Co-Founder and Creative Director Lou Leonardis. “We feel grateful to be part of those efforts.”

Encouraging Community

Trillion has made giving back a regular and delightful part of their culture. “We made it a company policy, volunteering in environmental initiatives such as park and trail cleanups or pruning fruit trees on a farm that feeds individuals with food insecurity,” says Co-Founder Larissa Montecuollo. “We do these types of team outings several times a year and it is always rewarding.”

Adapting to Change

The pandemic introduced and accelerated change in all aspects of business. As a company, Trillion quickly made its own adjustments, but its biggest achievement has been helping clients adapt to the new business and marketing landscape by leveraging new digital tools and the latest technology innovations. These innovations also opened up new markets to Trillion, and they now have staff and clients nationwide.

Once again, creativity was the foundation for success. As the pandemic unalterably changed how organizations conduct branding, marketing, and fundraising, Trillion’s ingenuity and flexibility enabled them to help clients adapt and thrive as necessary.

Looking Ahead

All this has led Trillion to impressive growth over the last 10 years. They continue to employ new ideas and technologies (yes, that includes AI), expand their client list and help clients keep up with the ever-evolving social media space. One particular area of expansion is their theater and performing arts clients, where Trillion has used impressive design and targeted marketing to increase ticket sales and grow audiences more easily.

Their core values remain constant. They are dedicated to doing exceptional work that helps their clients reach their goals. The next 10 years promise to be very exciting!
