The Burren House Irish Pub Branding

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Burren House is an Irish-inspired pub in the San Francisco Bay area of California, offering traditional pub food and the ambiance of an authentic Irish pub to its patrons. The owners reached out to Trillion for help creating unique branding: the restaurant does not fit the stereotypical American idea of Irish pubs with shamrocks and lots of green. Their name refers to the Burren landscape in Ireland—rocky, rugged and home to many family-friendly pubs with a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Our design team created a logo that evoked the remnants of ancient structures found on the land and the timeless, natural beauty of the region. The colors were warm and earthy, using deep reds and golds. The fonts for the menus and signage are clean and classic, creating a simple wholesome air of a meeting place for all ages and gatherings.
