This month we introduce you to our newest Trillionaire, copywriter Pam Lobley. We always enjoy sharing a little bit about the members of our team and what inspires them.

What led you to Trillion?

Last year, I was doing quite a bit of freelance writing and began working with Trillion. Everyone here is so creative and easy to work with, including the clients! I really love the mix of industries and organizations I get to write for: in the morning I might be writing about cybersecurity and in the afternoon I could be creating a fundraising appeal for a school. The opportunities for creativity are almost unlimited.

Do you have any favorite types of projects?

I am happiest when I am learning something new, so anything that exposes me to new ideas, technologies, or institutions is appealing to me. I always look forward to digging into the details of any subject and understanding how it relates to the rest of the world.

How do you relax during time off?

I love to be active; I especially like to play tennis or take my dog on long walks. I also love to go to the library and check out an embarrassing amount of books.

How many books is an embarrassing amount to check out at once?

At any given time, I probably have 10-15 books checked out. I don’t read them all; I do a lot of skimming. Or I will read the first chapter or two and decide I don’t like it. I am not a fast reader, so I have to like a book to stick with it. I usually have several different books that I am actually reading at one time: historical fiction, narrative non-fiction, biographies; I even read Young Adult books occasionally. I find inspiration in all different genres and authors.

Do you have time to binge-watch?

Yes! Comedies are my favorite. Recent favorites include Our Flag Means Death, The Great, Hacks, and Reboot. I also love a good home makeover show.

What is the last picture on your cell phone?

My dog wearing his raincoat. He is a rescue mutt. I have way too many pictures of him.

Do you ever get writer’s block?

No, but I do have to “talk” things through to myself. I will sometimes wander around just saying ideas out loud or talking through the flow of an article. My family is used to it and it’s part of my creative process.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The storytelling. Every organization has a story behind it, and the product or service that I am writing about is part of that. I think about who will read my words and how they will be affected by them. How can my writing help them, change them, or expand their world? To me, it is never “just” information.

Pam and the rest of the team here at Trillion would love to bring their creativity and energy to your brand. Contact us today to start working with our award-winning team.
