More than 12,000 entries were submitted to Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) for the 56th Annual American Graphic Design Awards, and only 5% were selected as winners.
Trillion, a Summit, NJ-based creative agency, was honored with three more American Graphic Design Awards by the leading industry publication—making the total 18 since 2015. In 2019, our work for SUNY College of Optometry, Newark Downtown District, and Birch Family Services was recognized in three categories: Annual + Corporate Reports, Branding + Identity Programs, and Internet Design. Take a look back at our award-winning designs in 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015.
Gordon Kaye, editor and publisher of GDUSA, said it best, “So much talent from so many places. So many clients recognizing the value of design. So many designers sharing their empowerment. So convincing a statement of why the creative professions matter.” And Trillion is so grateful to be acknowledged.
The award-winning graphic design projects are:
SUNY COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY 2018 ANNUAL REPORT
American Graphic Design Awards: Annual + Corporate Reports Category
After completing a strategic planning exercise, SUNY College of Optometry came to Trillion to share its plan for the future through the design of their strategic plan and complementary annual report. A spot UV coating is used on the cover, while big bold type, color and photography fill the pages.
NEWARK DOWNTOWN DISTRICT 20TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT EVENT BRANDING
American Graphic Design Awards: Branding + Identity Programs Category
Trillion utilized Newark Downtown District’s yellow, black, and bold typography to design an event branding look-and-feel for the not-for-profit’s 20th anniversary concert. The branding was then applied to a VIP invitation design, billboard, social media assets, email marketing, and day-of signage.
BIRCH FAMILY SERVICES WEBSITE REDESIGN
American Graphic Design Awards: Internet Design (Web, App, Social) Category
After refreshing the Birch Family Services brand, Trillion tackled a website redesign to better tell their story and make it easier for the client to update pages and add new content, something that was a challenge on their previous website.
