First Presbyterian Church Nursery School Rebranding
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The First Presbyterian Church Nursery School was founded in 1952 in order to provide a non-sectarian program to children of the downtown New York City community. The nursery school follows the progressive educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia which seeks to look at children’s competence and potential rather than their limitations. The school, which is seeing a changing landscape in early child education in New York City identified that it was time to update its visual identity to better align with the prestigious reputation they have built. Trillion worked with the school’s staff to develop a new visual identity that evoked the growth and caring environment of the school. A hand-drawn tree logo utilizing the school’s name was developed, along with a construction paper illustration featuring the city landscape. Trillion also designed a stationery system, marketing materials and recruitment table cover.
