PROJECT OVERVIEW

Newark Academy, one of the nation’s oldest private schools, launched an alumni fundraising challenge targeting their “reunion” classes – classes grouped by their ending year numbers (1993, 2003, 2013). The reunion classes were invited to compete against each other in a “Battle of the Classes” fundraising challenge. Trillion designed a self-mailer that included a remittance envelope for easy donations. Per the client, the theme focused on the school’s athletics, using photography, typography and wording to evoke the spirit of competition and school spirit. The use of their branded colors and their Minutemen mascot captured the energy and affection alumni have for their alma mater.

RESULTS

The 2023 Battle of the Classes Reunion Challenge was a very successful campaign for alumni participation, yielding more than 180 donors and raising nearly $100,000 for the Newark Academy Fund.
