PROJECT OVERVIEW
Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation (UCU Foundation), based in Chicago, supports Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) in Lviv, Ukraine. Trillion works with the Foundation on all aspects of their fundraising and marketing activities, including this unique campaign. For UCU Foundation’s annual giving campaign, they chose to highlight the Emmaus Center at Ukrainian Catholic University. The Emmaus Center offers unique support to people with developmental disabilities and their families where they share their lives with students and are welcomed into a full life. The Foundation’s Giving Tuesday campaign focused on raising awareness of the Emmaus Center’s program and highlighted how they provided critical support and evacuation services to the disabled of Ukraine during the first months of the Russian invasion. Trillion helped tell this story and developed the Giving Tuesday campaign with a series of emails, Facebook and Instagram posts, a Facebook fundraiser, and a dedicated landing page on the website.
RESULTS
The campaign surpassed its projected goal, raised more money than in the prior year, and yielded donations from 50 donors.
