Theatre Under The Stars Season Branding
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Theatre Under The Stars, a premiere nonprofit musical theatre company located in Houston, Texas, worked with Trillion to help elevate the look of their new season.
Trillion created original key art for three TUTS-produced musicals, used in all aspects of digital and print marketing for the individual shows and for the season as a whole. We worked with the theatre’s creative team to learn about their artistic vision for the shows – Cinderella, Newsies, and Sweeney Todd. This vision inspired our design process, which involved concept sketches, illustration, title design, and the production of final artwork for each show.
Once the key art was complete, Trillion also defined the look-and-feel of the season’s marketing materials and served as an interim creative director for their graphic design staff. We put a fresh spin on the theatre’s existing brand assets to create excitement for the new productions. To support the internal team in the long term, we developed templates to improve workflow efficiencies and simplify the creation of email blasts, social media posts, website imagery, and much more.
