10 Year Anniversary Campaign Branding for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Foundation

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Challenge: Creating Brand Awareness for a National Foundation
The AIChE Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), supporting programs that enable AIChE and its members to be a positive force for change through the safe and responsible practice of chemical engineering. As the Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary, it recognized a strong need to boost brand awareness; many engineers within AIChE remained unfamiliar with the Foundation and its wide-reaching impact. The Foundation wanted to introduce itself to the engineers and inspire them to join. It also wanted to give existing members of the Foundation a sense of belonging and reinforce its messaging and impact.
RESULTS
Solution: Leveraging the 10-Anniversary with Striking Design and Compelling Copy
Trillion created a memorable 10th-anniversary logo and expanded look-and-feel that complemented the AIChE organization brand. We helped define secondary fonts, color palette, and interesting patterns that would quickly identify the Foundation and the 10-year anniversary efforts. On all the materials, copy was kept succinct and meaningful, displayed through digestible bullet points, statistics, headlines and short paragraphs, ensuring that the many accomplishments and donation opportunities would be easily understood and remembered. The branding was rolled out across several different marketing channels, including fundraising efforts, advertising, and digital and in-person events, positioning them as a powerful force for good and inspiring chemical engineers to join in their work.
