Communicating the Scope of Global ReliefThe core challenge was translating the scale and complexity of a global humanitarian effort into a clear, engaging impact report. The report needed to convey the many ways humanitarian relief, health care, education, and advocacy had been delivered to Ukraine, while helping supporters easily understand the real-world outcomes of their contributions.Razom is a U.S.-based not-for-profit that supports Ukraine, uniting a global network of more than 100,000 activists, doctors, engineers, educators, and legal and financial professionals; its name means "together" in Ukrainian.Impact Report Design for Humanitarian ReliefTrillion created an impact report that brought Razom's work to life through clean design, purposeful typography, branded colors, and vivid photography. The report communicated both the scale of the organization's efforts and the human stories behind them. The final piece balanced emotional storytelling with structured information, letting donors and supporters see the tangible results of Razom's work while maintaining transparency and readability.

Branding a Capital Campaign to Expand Community ImpactThe core challenge was supporting a capital campaign that would fund both the renovation of an existing facility and the opening of a second location. The campaign needed branding and fundraising materials that clearly communicated the purpose of the initiative and how donor support would expand programs and services for the local community. The YMCA partnered with Trillion to brand its "Growing Stronger Together" capital campaign. Working within established YMCA brand guidelines, Trillion developed a campaign lockup and case for support materials that aligned with the broader YMCA identity while giving the local campaign a distinct presence.Campaign Identity and Case for Support Brochure DesignTrillion designed a campaign logo and case for support brochure that clearly conveyed the need for donations and the impact of the campaign. A unique square brochure format helped the piece stand out while keeping messaging focused and easy to navigate. The brochure included a pocket folder that allowed for customized inserts matched to donor interests, along with additional information on naming opportunities and giving levels.Fundraising Outcomes and Facility ExpansionThe "Growing Stronger Together" campaign successfully reached its $1 million fundraising goal, enabling the YMCA to rehabilitate its existing facility and open a new location.

Annual Report and Website Design That Reflects a CityAn annual report for a downtown organization has to do two jobs at once: account for the past year and reflect the place it serves. This edition carried extra weight, with a 25th anniversary to mark alongside the accomplishments of the past twelve months, across both a printed report and a digital edition.Newark Downtown District is vitally and vibrantly connected to the city it serves, and this report arrived as the organization celebrated its 25th Anniversary, a quarter century of progress downtown.A Magazine-Style Report, Translated to the WebTrillion designed the report with an elevated, magazine look and feel, using sophisticated photography and editorial content. Alongside the financial and statistical reporting, the book profiled talented staff and influential Newark leaders, and Trillion helped plan and coordinate a multi-day photo shoot at several Newark locations. The full report was then translated into an interactive website, carrying over the bold yellow photo frames, elevated serif headlines, and high-contrast yellow, black, and white, with subtle loading and micro animations that bring it to life.

Website and Impact Report Design for a Downtown NonprofitReimagining an annual impact report means rethinking it for two mediums at once. The report had to capture a year of financials and accomplishments while conveying the organization's impact on downtown Newark, and that story needed to land as powerfully on a screen as it did on the page.Newark Downtown District is the nonprofit behind downtown Newark, the largest city in New Jersey, and it reached out to Trillion to reimagine both the printed and digital editions of its yearly report.A Magazine-Style Report Built for Print and ScreenTrillion created new editorial content and gave the report a magazine look and feel, then planned, coordinated, and led a professional photoshoot in nearly a dozen locations across Newark's Downtown District. The team interviewed a mix of residents and city employees and built personal profiles featuring their support for the district. Once the printed report was designed, Trillion translated all of the text, photos, and infographics into an interactive website that celebrates the organization's stories and successes.RecognitionThe interactive report was recognized in the GDUSA 2024 Digital Design Awards: Websites. Newark Downtown District's Chief Executive Officer, Anthony McMillan, credited Trillion's professionalism, expertise, and dedication with helping bring the organization's vision to life.
