Capital Campaign Brochure Design Quote Pattern
The Challenge: Branding a Major Capital CampaignEntering the public phase of a $20 million capital campaign calls for a visual identity distinct enough to carry the effort across every touchpoint. The campaign also needed a full set of solicitation materials a development team could put to work right away.Congregation Rodeph Sholom is a New York City synagogue that entered the public phase of its L'Dor V'Dor capital campaign, with funds going toward renovating its building, creating an accessibility fund, and building an endowment. The Solution: A Distinct Identity and Solicitation ToolkitTrillion developed a visual identity built on a tree of life watercolor illustration, a monochromatic blue palette, deckled edges, and captivating photography. Trillion then translated that identity into a suite of materials including a die cut campaign brochure with an interior pocket, a series of customized inserts, a stand-alone campaign website, a campaign progress thermometer, and a toolbox of images, visual assets, and logos for the in-house marketing team.

Chanukah Appeal Menorah Illustration
The Challenge: A Holiday Appeal That Stands OutEnd of year is a crowded time for fundraising, so a Chanukah appeal had to catch the recipient's eye the moment it arrived in the mailbox. It also needed to feel connected to an earlier capital campaign while reading as distinctly festive for the holiday.Temple Rodef Shalom, the largest Reform Jewish congregation in Virginia serving more than 1,600 households, returned to Trillion for an end of year Chanukah appeal following the capital campaign brochure Trillion had designed. The Solution: A Festive, Illustrated MailingTrillion led with a bold, festive outer envelope and drew on the extended palette created for the capital campaign to keep the pieces connected. A custom menorah illustration carried the mailing's theme of 'increase the light,' and that illustration continued onto the inside slip with the 'after' menorah fully lit.
