Building a Chef Brand From Strategy UpA working chef and food blogger needed one cohesive brand to unify years of recipes, content, and audience across every channel. The harder challenge was carrying that equity forward without losing hard-won website traffic or social following in the transition.Chef Franco Lania is a master chef, food blogger, recipe demonstrator, motivational speaker, and writer who came to Trillion to build a new brand platform.A Complete Brand, Package, and Website SystemTrillion ran a strategic branding exercise, then designed the new logo and brand guidelines and developed a WordPress website with a custom recipe indexing tool built to surface Franco's recipes at the top of search results. Trillion also created email marketing templates and social media profile pages, and carefully migrated existing content, traffic, and social counts so none of it was lost. A year after relaunch, Trillion designed the press kit and the package for his first product, Minnesota Wild Rice Griddle Cakes.ResultsSince the brand relaunch, Chef Franco Lania has secured writing positions at the Huffington Post and Omaha Steaks and has headlined cooking shows and festivals around the US.

The Challenge: A Refreshed Site Plus a Way to Sell ProductsA loyal interior design client wanted to refresh its website with the latest design trends and add a way to sell individual products directly online.Over a multi-year relationship, Trillion has repeatedly refreshed Purvi Padia Interior Design’s website to keep pace with the studio’s growth and with changing design and technology trends.A Refreshed Design With an Integrated E-Commerce StoreTrillion refreshed the website design and the mobile experience, both managed through the WordPress content management system, with super-sized images bringing the work to the forefront across phones, tablets, and more. This iteration also includes an e-commerce store that lets the client sell individual products, and adding portfolio pieces, news items, or content edits stays easy through the customized CMS.

After more than thirty years of strategic financial advice and wealth management, the firm needed a visual identity that reflected both its experience and a more modern presence. The goal was an updated logo that honored the brand's history while moving it forward.Stawnychy Financial Services has provided strategic financial advice and wealth management services for over thirty years, and hired Trillion to update its brand with a new logo design and stationery suite.The Solution: A Modern Mark Rooted in HeritageTrillion designed a new logo that keeps the diamond shape of the previous mark while adding a custom typographic word mark and a newly designed icon that represents a financial journey. A matching stationery suite carried the refreshed identity across the firm's materials. The result exemplifies the firm's expertise and guidance alongside a modern nod to its history.

The Challenge: A Scalable Brand for a New Retail ConceptA new frozen yogurt emporium needed a complete brand image and a store experience that could scale to additional locations. The branding had to carry through every detail, from packaging to signage to in-store displays.Yo Lotta Luv is a privately owned frozen yogurt store in the heart of Chatham, NJ, an affluent suburb of New York City.The Solution: End-to-End Brand and EnvironmentTrillion began with a competitive analysis to find opportunities for the new brand, then designed the custom script type and heart swirl logo. Trillion created promotional materials including a temporary website landing page, frozen yogurt cup design, help wanted posters, business cards, and gift cards, and worked closely with the lead architect and interior designer on a store that is well designed and easily scalable. Trillion also consulted on uniforms and exterior signage, and designed the interior graphics, two digital menu boards, and a large flat screen display featuring a three-minute looping animated video that promotes the brand and its reward program.Results: Award-Winning DesignThe Yo Lotta Luv branding has been recognized by Graphic Design USA and awarded multiple American Graphic Design Awards.

The organization needed to communicate both its new name and the additional responsibilities and services it was taking on, with one consistent voice across every audience.Bonds of Courage, formerly Summit Supports Our Troops, is a nonprofit supporting post-9/11 troops that chose Trillion to lead its rebranding.The Solution: Strategy, Voice, and a Full Identity SystemTrillion developed the brand strategy and guidelines from the bottom up, defining the organization's emotional drivers and language and refining its mission and vision so every communication carried a consistent voice. The team crafted the brandmark and brand personality and documented color palettes, typography, and usage in a brand guidelines manual for employees, volunteers, and vendors. The resulting identity system, collateral, and website were designed to inspire targeted groups to donate, volunteer, or request support.ResultsThe Bonds of Courage website was recognized by Graphic Design USA and awarded an American Graphic Design Award.

The brand had to carry the company through the name change and its continued growth.cer té is a cafe and catering company that caters over 80 events daily, from business breakfasts to formal affairs of 7,000 people, and came to Trillion to transition from Lyn's Catering to the cer té name.The Solution: A New Name and a Growing IdentityTrillion helped the company make the move from Lyn's Catering to cer té with an initial brand development project. Over the years, Trillion has worked with the cer té team to create matching marketing materials that keep pace with the growing company. The brand has stayed consistent as the business expanded.

The Challenge: Extending a Cafe Brand Into PizzaA trusted cafe and catering brand was moving into a new all-natural pizza venture. The new logo needed to feel connected to the existing brand while standing on its own. The challenge was continuity with a fresh, distinct flair.Pizza by cer té is an all-natural pizza concept created by cer té cafe, a long-time Trillion client extending its brand into a new offering.The Solution: A Connected but Distinct LogoTrillion designed the Pizza by cer té logo to maintain continuity with the existing cer té cafe and catering logo while giving it its own flair. The addition of a basil leaf paired the welcoming, warm color palette and type treatment of cer té with a heavier, more robust treatment for the word pizza. The result reads as part of the family and as something new.
